EHI Quick Tip: White Vinegar and Newspaper Shiner

Newspaper's second use: cleaning your windows and mirrors!For shining windows and mirrors in your home while being more envirohumanly friendly: instead of using Windex or other chemicals (usually including ammonia), try a spray bottle of 50 percent white apple vinegar and 50 percent water. It’s much cheaper than using the other chemicals, and best of all, it’s natural!

Tired of wiping and wiping with paper towels or cloth to remove lint from your windows and mirrors? Try using newspaper! While this tip has been used for years, here’s another reminder that it really works for removing streaks and it leaves your shiny surfaces free of lint.
